Pottery Barn Fall Decor Accents

I have recently been collecting fall home decor inspiration from Pottery Barn.  Fall is my favorite time of year to stay indoors, light my candles, start a cozy fire, and snuggle up with some warm and cozy textures.  It's also about gathering together your closest friends and family to give thanks, express gratitude, and enjoy some merry cheer.

Enjoy your weekend!

40's Inspired Retro Style

Location: Redwood City Train Station & Historic Downtown District
I am so excited to collaborate with Karina Dresses on this post today! Did you know you can get an instant 15% off by simply signing up for the Karina Nation mailing list?  That's a great way to save! The hardest decision will be picking your favorite style!

I opted for the "Audrey" dress in a black palette with neutral polka dots.  I really love the retro inspired fit and who doesn't love polka dots?  The Audrey dress is a sleeveless, knee-length dress with a v-neck front and back.  I chose to style it with a classic trench coat, black bow high heels, and my favorite red lipstick!  I kept to a classic neutral palette but I also plan to wear it again with fun punches of color!  Wouldn't it look darling with this clutch, these red high heels, and this coat?  I really think the style possibilities are endless!

All of Karina's dresses are American made and crafted with love from Brooklyn, New York.  There is a perfect fit and style for all shapes and sizes.  In fact, if you already know your body shape, it's a breeze to shop for the perfect dress.  Just select your body shape on their home page (e.g. hourglass, oval, triangle, etc.) and a list of suggested dresses will be displayed for you!  It can't be easier than that!

I would like to thank Karina Dresses for sponsoring this post!

Embroidered Sheath Dress

This post is coming a little late into the fall season but it’s better late than never to get some style inspiration!  This past summer, I brought this Michael Kors embroidered sheath dress on vacation with me.   I love the Latin inspired style and the beautiful detail and colors of the embroidery.  This dress looks fabulous on its own so I chose very minimal accessories.  Unfortunately, this exact style is no longer available but I have linked in numerous other options such as these ones here, here, and here.

For a casual look, throw your hair in a messy braid and add some casual sandals such as these cute pom pom ones here or these vibrant fringe sandals here!  If you prefer a higher heel height, you might like these fun options here, here, and here!

Now that we are in the fall season, it may be getting a little chillier which will require some layers.  Ponchos and capes are very popular this season and would complement the style of this dress very well and keep you warmer during the cooler mornings and evenings of autumn.  I selected a few layering options here and here, both of which would look stunning with this dress in the fall season combined with some stylish suede booties.

It’s easy to transition you summer wardrobe into fall with the right accessories, shoes, and layers.  I challenge you to pull out some of your summer basics from the back of your closet and give it a try!  You’ll be amazed at the number of fresh new outfit ideas you will come up with just by adding some fall basics such as tights, scarves, boots, and a coat!

I hope you all are enjoying your week so far!
Happy October!

Xoxoxo,

Hayley

Tropical Jogger Pants

Location: Hyatt Grand Cypress - Orlando, FL
It's been a while since I have posted on my blog.  Honestly, I have been super busy lately with my boys going back to school and a promotion at my job.  Our family has also been grieving with an unexpected loss...so sometimes... more important events have to take priority in life.  However, I hope you all follow me on my Instagram account.  If you don't, stop by and say hello and let me know that you follow along!  I post there almost every day and I would love to follow you back!

I'm throwing it back to summer on the blog today with these colorful tropical print jogger pants. by Bar III.

They are super lightweight and comfortable and packed perfectly for my recent trip to sunny Florida.  I love to be comfortable when I travel and have clothes that are completely versatile from day to night.  I chose a casual look for my day out exploring which included a morning bike ride, a casual outdoor patio lunch with friends, and spending some time poolside to soak in the Florida sun!  My daytime look included these black studded sandals, a straw hat, a casual tank top and a sheer sleeveless button up blouse that kept the whole look easy and breezy.

When the sun goes down and you are ready to change the look for a night out on the town, add a pair of heels such as these one here or here, a cute peplum or crop top, and a sleek clutch.  Don't forget to polish off your look with a little sparkle such as this simple and classy twisted orbit cuff bangle I picked out from Helen's Jewels !

Enjoy Shopping!

Citrus Tie Dye Scuba Halter Dress

Location: Hyatt Grand Cypress - Orlando, FL
During my recent trip to Orlando Florida, I packed this sleeveless Calvin Klein fit and flare dress.  I just love the floral pattern which is done with pops of vibrant citrus colors!  I felt this dress would be perfect for my trip to Florida because a) it's so easy to pack and doesn't take up too much space in your luggage - just grab your shoes and accessories; b) the scuba neckline and fit and flare sleeveless style keeps you cool in the hot and humid Florida sun; and most importantly c) the vibrant citrus orange, lemon yellow, and watermelon pink color palette just screams Florida, am I right?

I decided to wear my neon orange heels which compliment the colors in this dress nicely.  I picked out a few other shoe options you may want to consider here, here, and here.  I kept the accessories to a minimum choosing to wear a simple and classy twisted orbit cuff bangle I picked out from Helen's Jewels.  I just love this bracelet because it sparkles and shines brilliantly and literally goes with any outfit - casual or dressy!  If you are not familiar with Helen's Jewels, check out their website here!  They have a beautiful selection of jewelry that you will love!  Check out some of my other favorite pieces here, here, and here and make sure you check out their current summer sale!

I really enjoyed our time in Orlando.  We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Hotel, located just 18 miles from the Orlando International Airport and minutes from the Disney World Magic Kingdom main gate in the Lake Buena Vista area.  For more information, photos, and recommendations, check out my blog post here.

I hope you all are having a great week so far and enjoying these last few weeks before school starts again!  Enjoy your travels and have fun shopping!

xoxoxo,
Hayley
